We have lots of swashbucklers “Before the Mast”, so a few beautiful swords are welcome…

Early Seventeenth Century Swords
(from bottom up)
Schiavona - Venice, early Seventeenth Century. Cat head shaped pommel with central rosettes. Steel basket hilt. Wooden grip bound with leather and twisted iron wire. Lenticular section steel blade with a fuller on 2/3 of it’s length.
Length Overall: 97cm
Weight: 1500gr

Rapier - Early Seventeenth Century. Hilt made of steel bars joined together at the quillon block, with a single curving quillon. Knuckle guard joined by a loop to the Pas d’Ane’. Flattened cylindrical steel pommel. Wooden grip bound with twisted iron wire.
Length Overall: 111cm
Weight: 1250gr

Rapier - Early Seventeenth Century. Hilt with knuckle guard branching into loops to connect the Pas d’ Ane’. Straight quillons. Fluted, cylindrical pommel.   Wooden grip bound with twisted iron and brass wire. Steel blade with diamond section and strong ricasso.

Weight: 1250gr

Plain spherical steel pommel with button. Wooden grip bound with twisted iron and brass wire. Steel blade of diamond section with strong ricasso.

Before the Mast Welcome to our play-by-post historical RPG!

It's 1719 in the West Indies. The Caribbean Sea is boiling in the war and there is no quiet place ashore or at sea.
